Scope and purpose
ExamXpress content is designed for study and self-assessment. We aim to make important concepts easier to recall and to direct learners to authoritative material when they need more detail. Our content does not replace official instructions, professional advice, or an official examination.
Sources and citations
We prefer primary and authoritative sources. Canadian citizenship material is based principally on the Government of Canada's Discover Canada study guide and current Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada test information. Questions and explanations link to relevant official guide sections where practical.
- Official publications take priority over summaries from third parties.
- Time-sensitive facts are checked against a current official source before publication.
- Source links are reviewed when content is revised or when a broken link is reported.
- Historical terminology may be identified when it appears in the official source and clarified where needed.
Writing and review
- Define the learning objective. Each question should test one useful fact or concept.
- Confirm the source. The correct response must be supported by an authoritative reference.
- Write independently. We use original question and explanation wording rather than copying an official test.
- Check answer quality. Incorrect choices should be plausible enough to test recall but not misleading or offensive.
- Review the experience. We check clarity, accessibility, duplicate wording, answer order, and source links.
ExamXpress does not have access to confidential official questions. We do not present practice questions as leaked, recalled, or guaranteed official-test content.
Updates and maintenance
We review content when an official source changes, a learner reports an issue, a broken link is discovered, or a scheduled content review is performed. Material may be revised, replaced, or retired when it is no longer accurate or useful. A page's review date indicates its latest editorial review, not necessarily the date every underlying fact was first published.
Corrections
We welcome specific correction reports. Email examxpress@clickitxpress.com with the page or question, the statement you believe is incorrect, and a supporting source if available. We assess reports against authoritative evidence and update confirmed errors as promptly as practical.
Substantive corrections are reflected in the affected content. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and link repairs may be made without a separate correction notice.
