Privacy policy

This policy explains what information may be processed when you use ExamXpress and how hosting, advertising, and browser speech services may handle data.

Who operates ExamXpress

ExamXpress is owned and operated by ClickItXpress LLC. ClickItXpress LLC is responsible for this privacy policy and for responding to the privacy questions and requests described below.

Information processed by ExamXpress

The practice test does not require an account. ExamXpress does not ask you to submit your name, email address, citizenship application information, or test answers to use the practice experience. Your selected answers, score, timer, and current practice session remain in your browser and are not sent to ExamXpress.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. Please do not send passport details, immigration documents, application numbers, financial information, or other sensitive personal information.

Hosting and technical logs

Our hosting and network providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and security or error events. Provider retention and security practices are governed by their own terms and policies.

Google AdSense, cookies, and similar technologies

ExamXpress may use Google AdSense on eligible pages containing original publisher content. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, measure, and protect advertising. Depending on your location and consent choices, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized.

We do not intentionally load AdSense advertising on the platform home, interactive practice test, setup, results, privacy, terms, about, editorial policy, accessibility, or contact pages. Advertising code is limited to the substantive study-guide library. The AdSense account-verification meta tag on a page identifies the publisher account; it does not by itself display an advertisement.

Learn more about how Google uses information for advertising and manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center.

Where required, a consent message may ask you to accept, reject, or manage advertising and data-processing choices before advertising technologies are used. Available choices depend on your region and the advertising services active on the page. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website or advertising features.

Optional browser speech

The optional read-aloud feature uses the Web Speech capabilities provided by your browser or operating system. ExamXpress does not turn on your microphone, record your voice, or receive a recording from that feature. The question text may be processed by your browser, device, or its speech provider, and the provider's privacy terms apply. Voice availability and whether processing occurs locally or online depend on your device.

ExamXpress links to Government of Canada sources, advertising controls, and other third-party pages. A third party's own privacy policy applies after you follow a link to its service.

Retention and security

We retain direct email correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ExamXpress, its providers, advertising configuration, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date above.
